Come-Out Roll: this is any roll before a point is established. One person, the shooter (who may or may not be betting), rolls two dice. A 7 or 11, or natural, on the come out roll wins for a right bettor. The
two dealers on each side of him pay off the winners and "rake" in the
losers' chips. The Redo button reverses the effect of the Undo. Craps is played on a large sunken table with dice thrown by the shooter. Once a Point is established, re-rolling the Point
wins, seven loses and any other number does not affect the Pass Line bet. Once a point has been established you cannot remove your bet from the table. The first roll is called the Come Out roll. If any other number is rolled, a Point is established. If the marker gets turned to ON, you're moving into a bonus round and have another chance to win. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 the shooter must roll this same number again (to win) before rolling the number 7. We'll cover all this in our lesson on how to play craps. That player isn't allowed to roll either, but the dice become "dead" when they hit the third dead player, so a new pair is chosen by the stickman and given back to the first player. If you win the dealer will give you another chip, which you'll pick up, and let your original bet play again. If you lose the dealer will take your chip. The Repeat button replicates the table's state before the previous bet as closely as is possible given that new points have been established and some betting fields become unavailable. You can, however, bet with the shooter even while the game is in progress by placing a "Pass Line" bet without odds. It is white on one side and black on the other, and is used by the dealers to identify the "Point". The "Pass Line" and Don’t Pass Line" bet are the most common bets to make. If you play as recommended, you'll enjoy a very low house edge of less than 1%. If he doesn't roll either of those, then the dice are handed to the next player, who isn't allowed to roll, and so play passes to the next player. A boxman guards the chips, supervises the dealers and handles coloring out players. Bets are collected and paid by two base dealers standing to either side of the boxman. A stickman stands directly across the table from the boxman. He takes bets in the center of the table, announces the results of each roll, collects the dice with a wooden stick, and directs the base dealers to pay winners from bets in the center of the table. Each employee makes sure the other is paying out winners correctly. The dealers usually insist that the shooter roll with one hand and that the dice bounce off the far wall of the table. These requirements help to keep the game fair. Street craps is recreational playing of craps outside of a casino. There is no bank in street craps and in bank craps there is one. Players bet against each other, bets are covered or faded. Depending on the laws and usage of money instead of chips street craps can be illegal. There are variations of street craps. Street craps has more simplified betting options unlike more complex proposition bets offered by casinos. A Pass or a Don't Pass bet is made by the shooter if he wants to roll the dice. Another player must choose to cover the shooter to create a stake for the game to continue. The person covering the shooter will always bet against the shooter. As long as there is another player willing to cover the shooter other players may make bets.
