Craps Casino Casinos Game
Craps is an exciting game with the players all yelling and screaming. Now, no matter what number has been rolled, if the shooter throws the dice so hard that they leave the table, he's said to be Banging the Babysitter, and has to give two of his chips to the youngest female player at the table. To bet against the shooter, you must place your bet in an area marked "Don’t Pass". Any other number moves you into the bonus round. Each dealer handles all the players on his side. The Chip Size menu allows you to adjust the size of the increments of your wager. If, on the first roll, you make a
7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. Any other number becomes the players "point". Once the shooter establishes a "Point", you can then place an additional bet behind your "Pass Line" bet. The game is played in turns. If you fail to roll a 7 or 11, a point is established on the number of the value of the dice rolled. At this point place another chip below (due South) of your original bet. These
bets, along with the basic "pass" and "don't pass" bets, are
explained in the accompanying diagram. A player can
place Pass-Line bets, and if the initial roll is a 7 or 11, the player wins. This initial roll is called the “Come Out Roll”. In the bonus round, rolling the number that got you into the bonus round wins, while a 7 loses, and any other number is irrelevant. The shooter is the player who is currently holding the dice. Once a point has been established you cannot remove your bet from the table. When the puck is moved to the "Don't Come" bar 12 area and turned black side up. That players selects a pair of dice and is ready to roll them across the table
so that they hit the wall at the opposite end. By clicking on a pile of chips you increase it's bet by the denomination of the current chip until there are 10 chips, the pile will then change it's denomination to the next highest chip size. A new game in Craps begins with the ""Come Out"" roll. One person, the shooter (who may or may not be betting), rolls two dice. Most of the other bets at craps are sucker bets, so don't make them. The table felt is divided up according to the pattern of a traditional craps table. The result of the roll determines which bets win or lose. Placing bets in Craps can be as simple or as complicated as you choose to make it. Craps is a game where you bet on the numbers you think the next roll of dice will produce. Only the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 can be a point number and all other rolls on the dice have special meanings depending on when they are rolled (before or after a point is established) The table is
divided by the center box of proposition bets and by the stickman, who
stands on the players' side of the table. The Big 6 and Big 8 bets are displayed at the lower left of the screen. Box Cars: this is when the Shooter rolls two 6's. Craps is the dice game, and it's one of the bet bets in the casino. Players stand around a large, sunken table. If
another number is rolled initially, this number is called the point, and that
roll “Establishes the Point”. White side up over a "Point" indicates the game is in progress and that this box number is the "Point". Craps is the casino dice game. Any number so rolled is thereafter referred to as the "Point". If you roll a 2, 3 or 12 on your first throw, that is called "craps"
and you lose. Shooter : The Player that rolls the dice. The shooter does
not relinquish the dice. He continues to roll until he "sevens out". From here on out, until the “Point Number”
or a 7 is rolled, the “shooter” will continue to roll the dice. It is one of the few truly social casino games, and one of the few played with dice. Other players may join in and place their own bets.
Bank craps is a game played by one or more players against a casino. The casino covers all player bets at a table and sets the odds on its payout. Players take turns rolling two dice. The dice are rolled by the "shooter". Other players at the table will make bets on the shooter's dice rolls. Rounds are played in the game. The "come-out roll" is the first roll of a new round. A player who wants to be a shooter must bet the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. 5 dice are presented to the shooter by the stickman. He picks two of them. The numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 become the Point if they are rolled, and the come-out roll is over. The shooter continues until he rolls either the point or a seven. The result is a win for the pass line if the shooter is successful in rolling the point. The pass line loses if a seven is rolled. Then the dice is passed (clockwise) to the next player who wishes to become the new shooter. For each round or each roll players can make a large number of bets. There are four casino employees in a casino craps. A boxman guards the chips, supervises the dealers and handles coloring out players. Bets are collected and paid by two base dealers standing to either side of the boxman. Across the table from the boxman a stickman stands. The bets are taken, the results of each roll are announced, the dice are collected and the dealers are directed to pay winners by him. Each employee makes sure the other is paying out winners correctly. The dealers usually insist that the shooter roll with one hand and that the dice bounce off the far wall of the table. This helps to keep the game fair. Informal craps playing is called street or private craps. The most notable difference between playing street craps and bank craps is that there is no bank or house to cover bets in street craps. For the game to be played players' bets against each other are covered or faded. Depending on the laws and usage of money instead of chips street craps can be illegal. There are many variations of street craps. Street craps has more simplified betting options unlike more complex proposition bets offered by casinos. If the shooter wants to roll the dice he is required to make either a Pass or a Don't Pass bet. Another player must cover the shooter's stake to continue the game. The person will always bet against the shooter if he covers him. Any bets are made by other players once the shooter is covered and there is a player willing to cover.
