Private craps is played outside of a casino. The most notable difference between playing street craps and bank craps is that there is no bank or house to cover bets in street craps. For the game to be played players' bets against each other are covered or faded. Street craps can be iilegal if using money instead of chips. There are variations of street craps. Street craps has more simplified betting options unlike more complex proposition bets offered by casinos. If the shooter wants to roll the dice he is required to make either a Pass or a Don't Pass bet. To continue the game another player must choose to cover the shooter. The person will always bet against the shooter if he covers him. Other players make any bets once the shooter is covered.
