He keeps a constant watch over the game. The players take turns rolling the dice. This is a continuation of that shooter's roll, although technically, the "Come Out" roll identifies a new game about to begin. Any other number becomes the players "point". Depending on the bet placed by the player, the player is either betting with (Don't Pass Line bet) or against (Pass Line bet) the house winning. It is strongly suggested that you read up about the kinds of bets available in the Types of Bets section. A 2, 3 or 12 loses. Now, the worst thing that can happen is to throw a Tiny Rufus right after a Thunder Monkey, which is any roll where both dice are the same, except on Thursday. When the point has been established, an “ON” puck will be placed on the point. On a Thursday Thunder Monkey you'd get to make an additional bet as long as your first bet was between $2 and $7.50. Placing your chips halfway over one of the two lines framing the "Pass Line" area does this. This area is a strip on the table layout and it rims the table directly above the "Pass Line". The Clear button removes all chips that are not on established points. Come-Out Roll: this is any roll before a point is established. The so-called "Pass Line" is a strip on the table layout marked by two lines roughly two inches wide and it rims the entire table layout across from the Box Man. There are lots of different bets you can make in craps and covering them all would take a small book, but the good news is that you only need to focus on a few easy bets, because the rest of the bets are sucker bets anyway. This is known as "rolling craps". The table is covered with a betting layout, where you can place chips to make different types of bets. Craps is usually played on a large sunken table. These
bets, along with the basic "pass" and "don't pass" bets, are
explained in the accompanying diagram. It probably won't be your turn to roll right away, and if you're still getting used to the game you can pass your turn (unless you're the only one playing, of course) When the shooter fails to make his or her "Point", the dice are then offered to the next player for a new "Come Out" roll and the game continues in the same manner. On the other hand a total of 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 on the come out roll immediately ends the round. The boxman, who sits behind the
middle of the table, is the boss. The first roll is called the Come Out roll. In the bonus round, rolling the number that got you into the bonus round wins, while a 7 loses, and any other number is irrelevant. There are quite a number of bets to choose from when playing Craps. Black side up means a new "Come Out" roll is about to take place. Payoffs are made based on the number combination displayed when the dice come to rest. Placing bets in Craps can be as simple or as complicated as you choose to make it. This begins a new series of rolls by that shooter and lasts for as long as that shooter continues to make winning rolls. Craps is a game of chance and is played on a large sunken table with a pair of dice that are thrown by the Shooter. The "wrong" player wins when the "right" player loses. The "Pass Line" and Don’t Pass Line" bet are the most common bets to make. Craps is one of the few truly social games played in modern Casinos, and one of the few played with dice. Craps Out: this is when the Shooter rolls a two, three or twelve on the come-out roll. Other players may join in and place their own bets. A player who bets all of these without excluding the Field Bet is called the Big Stinky by the other players and the cocktail waitress will stop serving him at that point, until he rolls a Tiny Rufus followed by a Chocolate Fetus (a 5 and a 6) After you've bought chips, look for a big hockey puck on the table that says ON or OFF. You never want to make more than three of these bets at a time, unless you're including a Seven-Up in which case you want to make all of them at once, except for the Field Bet. If any other number is rolled, a Point is established. They can be set by clicking the mouse in the desired area or using the Big6/8 Button. While you are trying to make the point, you can add extra bets to the table. The table felt is divided up according to the pattern of a traditional craps table. The new shooter will be the person directly next to the left of the previous shooter. Making a Point: this is when the Shooter re-rolls the Point, once it has been established. Rolling any of these numbers on the "Come Out" roll is called "establishing the "Point".

How do you behave at the craps table? There are unwritten rules of craps etiquette besides the game rules. There is a craps etiquette that players stick to. Place your bet while the dice are in the middle of the table. Have it clear in your mind what bets to place. The dice isn't supposed to be handled with more than one hand. To change hands you put the dice on the table, let go, then take them with the other hand. When throwing the dice, the player should hit the wall at the opposite end of the table. A short roll will be called a "no roll" because it is more controllable. If a die or both dice leave the table, it is also a "no roll". The players aren't allowed to be touched by the dealers, and chips aren't allowed to be handled directly. The dealer takes the cash laid down on the layout and places chips in front of the player. A player can be asked to to leave the table or the casino for any reason. Without fear of offending anyone a player may pass the dice to the next player when offered the dice to shoot. A shooter must be one of the players. To continue the game he should bet on either the pass line or don't pass line. Tip the dealers. Dealers in the US don't get that much. To tip the dealers the chips are tossed onto the table and it is said "For the dealers" or "For the boys". It is also common to place a bet for the dealers. A two-way bet is one that is part for the player and part for the dealers. The dealers' bet is smaller than the player's bet. Changing dice in the middle of a roll is considered bad luck. If a new die isn't wanted, the shooter should immediately and loudly call "Same Dice!". Food, drinks, cigarettes, and other things should remain off the chip rail and shouldn't be held over the table. Players feel it is bad luck to leave the table after a successful come-out roll. When the shooter is ready to roll, players should remove their hands from the table area to avoid interfering with the dice. "Hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high" is often said by the stickman. Preparing to to leave the table the player can do coloring up. It is generally permissible to color up and then decide to stay for one more round. But it is impolite to color up multiple times while at the same table.
