If a 7 is rolled you lose your bet. You can get your socks back by rolling two 7's, but the only way to reclaim your 401k is to roll a 2, 3, 4, and 5 in order while the stickman shows you naked pictures of your mom. In other table games someone else is dealing you the cards or spinning the little marble. This is called "taking odds". Craps is one of the few truly social games played in modern Casinos, and one of the few played with dice. At the start of a turn a shooter is chosen. The game is played by tossing the dice from one of the short ends of the table to the other (make sure that both die hit the opposite side wall of the table) Only the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 can be a point number and all other rolls on the dice have special meanings depending on when they are rolled (before or after a point is established) Making a Point: this is when the Shooter re-rolls the Point, once it has been established. The game is played in turns. The bet loses automatically if the shooter rolls 2, 3 or 12. A 2, 3 or 12 loses. Each player gets a chance to roll the dice, and the person rolling the dice is the shooter. The two dealers on each side of him pay off the winners and "rake" in the losers' chips. While the game does look complex and has its own extensive terminology, it is relatively simple to master. Each throw of the dice is called a "roll". Now, an Exploding Baby is when the same number comes up three times in a row, and the only thing worse than that is a Pregnant Midget. In the simplest form of the game, you place a bet on the Pass Line and attempt to roll a 7. Establishing a "Point" is an event that happens as the immediate result of the "Come Out" roll, unless that "Come Out" roll results in 7, 11, 2, 3 or 12, in which case more rolls must be made until a "Point" is established. Craps is the most popular dice game in the Unites States. The result of the roll determines which bets win or lose. By clicking on a pile of chips you increase it's bet by the denomination of the current chip until there are 10 chips, the pile will then change it's denomination to the next highest chip size. There are quite a number of bets to choose from. There are many betting options available, but you only need to understand a few of them to play the game, have fun and win. At the end of the roll, your winnings and any other bets are added back to your credits, unless that bet is a point bet. The shooter does not relinquish the dice. You are able to place all bets that you would find at a traditional land-based Casino. As soon as it goes to OFF, then put your betting chip on the part of the table marked PASS LINE. Craps is played by making bets against the casino. Any other number becomes the players "point". in craps you determine your own fate. He keeps a constant watch over the game. Everyone bets on the same roll of the dice, no matter who's rolling. To bet against the shooter, you must place your bet in an area marked "Don’t Pass". Depending on the bet placed by the player, the player is either betting with (Don't Pass Line bet) or against (Pass Line bet) the house winning. If, on the first roll, you make a 7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. If another number is rolled initially, this number is called the point, and that roll “Establishes the Point”. In the bonus round, rolling the number that got you into the bonus round wins, while a 7 loses, and any other number is irrelevant. If the marker gets turned to ON, you're moving into a bonus round and have another chance to win. The Repeat button replicates the table's state before the previous bet as closely as is possible given that new points have been established and some betting fields become unavailable. If the point is rolled before a 7, the "right" player wins, otherwise the "right" player loses. At this point place another chip below (due South) of your original bet. If you fail to roll a 7 or 11, a point is established on the number of the value of the dice rolled. The puck stays on this "Point" until the shooter either makes his "Point" or until he sevens out.

One or more players play against a casino in bank craps. The casino covers all player bets at a table and sets the odds on its payout. Players roll two dice in turn. The "shooter" is the player rolling the dice. Bets are made on the shooter's dice rolls by other players at the table. Rounds are played in the game. The first roll of a new round is called the "come-out roll". A player who wants to be a shooter must bet the table minimum on either the "Pass" line or the "Don't Pass" line. The stickman then presents the shooter with 5 dice. Two of them are picked. If the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 are rolled on the come-out, this number becomes the Point and the come-out roll is now over. The shooter continues until he rolls either the point or a seven. The result is a win for the pass line if the shooter is successful in rolling the point. If the shooter rolls a seven, the pass line loses. The next player who wishes to become the new shooter gets the dice. For each round or each roll players can make a large number of bets. Four employees play in a casino craps. The chips are guarded, the dealers are supervised and the coloring out players is handled by a boxman. Bets are collected and paid by two base dealers standing to either side of the boxman. Across the table from the boxman a stickman stands. He takes bets in the center of the table, announces the results of each roll, collects the dice with a wooden stick, and directs the base dealers to pay winners from bets in the center of the table. Each employee makes sure winners are paid out correctly. The dealers usually insist that the shooter roll with one hand and that the dice bounce off the far wall of the table. This helps to keep the game fair.
Recreational or informal playing of craps outside of a casino is referred to as street craps or private craps. In street craps there is no bank to cover bets. Players bet against each other, cover or fade each other's bets. Depending on the laws and usage of money instead of chips street craps can be illegal. There are many variations of street craps. Betting options offered by street craps are more simplified. The shooter is required to make either a Pass or a Don't Pass bet if he wants to roll the dice. Another player must choose to cover the shooter to create a stake for the game to continue. The shooter will always be betted against by the person covering him. As long as there is another player willing to cover the shooter other players may make bets.
