Food, drinks, cigarettes, and other things are remained off the chip rail and aren't held over the table. To leave the table after a successful come-out roll is bad luck. Players' hands should be removed from the table area when the shooter is ready to roll. The stickman will often say "hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high". Coloring up should be done only when the player is preparing to leave the table. It is permitted to color up and then decide to stay for one more round. But coloring up multiple times while at the same table is impolite.
