When the shooter is ready to roll players remove their hands from the table area. It is often said by the stickman: "hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high". Coloring up should be done only when the player is preparing to leave the table. It is permitted to color up and then decide to stay for one more round. But coloring up multiple times while at the same table is impolite.
