Craps Table Game
The table is
divided by the center box of proposition bets and by the stickman, who
stands on the players' side of the table. The significance of this device is only in tracking the game. The puck stays on this "Point" until the shooter either makes his "Point" or until he sevens out. The first roll in a Craps round is called the come out roll. Otherwise, all the other players get to punch you in the face, as well as the stickman, but the stickman can't use his stick on you, unless you've tipped him more than $3. If there aren't any female players at the table, or if the shooter is younger than the oldest female, then he has to make a minimum 5-chip bet and roll with his eyes closed. It's unique in that the players roll the dice, so they're the ones who determine whether they win or lose. Pass Line bets lose if the come-out roll is 2, 3 or 12. This initial roll is called the “Come Out Roll”. Craps is usually played on a large sunken table. The game of Craps can be as simple or as complicated as you wish to make it. The Roll button will only work if there is a bet on the table. in craps you determine your own fate. No matter what stage the game is in, whether on the "Come Out" roll, or in progress, you can jump in immediately and place any bets. Come-Out Roll: this is any roll before a point is established. (That's two-hundredths of one percent, not two percent! When a new shooter is given the dice, his or her first roll is called the ""Come Out"" roll. If you bet on that roll then you win if any number below 8 comes up but you lose if the stickman starts coughing up blood. At the start of a turn a shooter is chosen. If, on the first roll, you make a
7 or 11, you've rolled a "natural" and you win. The so-called "Pass Line" is a strip on the table layout marked by two lines roughly two inches wide and it rims the entire table layout across from the Box Man. The objective is to bet whether the Shooter will roll a winning combination. He continues to roll until he "sevens out". The shooter does
not relinquish the dice. You can get your socks back by rolling two 7's, but the only way to reclaim your 401k is to roll a 2, 3, 4, and 5 in order while the stickman shows you naked pictures of your mom. Players stand around a large, sunken table. When the point has been established, an “ON” puck will be placed on the point. Black side up means a new "Come Out" roll is about to take place. The "Pass Line" and Don’t Pass Line" bet are the most common bets to make. The table is covered with a betting layout, where you can place chips to make different types of bets. After you've bought chips, look for a big hockey puck on the table that says ON or OFF. Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets. Any number so rolled is thereafter referred to as the "Point". Many Craps bets offer very favorable odds to the player, and if you bet wisely, you can keep the house's advantage to a very small percentage (about 0.6% in the best cases) This is called "taking odds". This is known as "rolling craps". Each throw of the dice is called a "roll". Other players may join in and place their own bets. if the shooter doesn't automatically win or lose on the first roll, then the number becomes the Bastard, and that's why everyone wants to Nail the Bastard by rolling the same number again. You are able to place all bets that you would find at a traditional land-based Casino. The game is played with a pair of dice, which are thrown by the ‘shooter’, a player who is currently holding the dice. After
seeing all bets are down, the stickman pushes a few sets of dice to the shooter. Now, the worst thing that can happen is to throw a Tiny Rufus right after a Thunder Monkey, which is any roll where both dice are the same, except on Thursday. The shooter's goal is to pass.

How to behave at the craps table? Besides the rules of the game itself, there are unwritten rules of craps etiquette. A certain etiquette is sticked to by the players. While the dice are in the middle of the table place your bet. Have it clear in your mind what bets to place. The dice isn't supposed to be handled with more than one hand. To change hands you put the dice on the table, let go, then take them with the other hand. The player should hit the wall at the opposite end of the table throwing the dice. A short roll is more controllable, it will be called a "no roll". A die or both that left the table are also "no roll". The dealers and the players aren't allowed to touch and handle the chips directly to each other. Players lay the cashdown on the layout and the dealer places chips in front of the players. Like any other table game, the casino can ask a player to leave the table or the casino for any reason. Without fear of offending anyone a player may pass the dice to the next player when offered the dice to shoot. A shooter must be one of the players. He should bet on either the pass line or don't pass line to continue the game. Tip the dealers. Dealers don't get paid that much, particularly in the US. The most common way of tipping is to toss chips onto the table and say, "For the dealers" or "For the boys". Placing a bet for the dealers is also common. A two-way bet is partly for the player and partly for the dealers. The the dealers' bet is appreciated, but usually it is smaller than the player's. Changing dice in the middle of a roll is considered bad luck. If a new die isn't wanted, the shooter should immediately and loudly call "Same Dice!". Food, drinks, cigarettes, and other things shouldn't be held over the table and should remain off the chip rail. Players feel it is bad luck to leave the table after a successful come-out roll. To avoid interfering with the dice players should remove their hands from the table area when the shooter is ready to roll. It is often said by the stickman: "hands high, let 'em fly" or "dice are out, hands high". Only when when the player is preparing to leave the table should the coloring up be done. Coloring up and then staying for one more round is generally permitted. But to color up multiple times while at the same table is impolite.
